The day after: Alshon Jeffery’s message gives Eagles the edge they need - The AthleticJeffery is a man of few words http://www.eaglescheapauthenticstore.com/rodney-mcleod-jersey-cheap , but teammates still consider him a leader. After Thursday night’s 34-13 win over the Giants, Jeffery explained how he tries to inspire confidence in the offense. “Man, just always just tell ‘em ain’t nobody fucking with us,” Jeffery said. “That’s what I always say.” It is what he always says. Jeffery said it last year after a win over the Cowboys. And he said it this year too before the season even started. Jeffery was still coming back from a shoulder injury, but before the opener, he addressed the entire offense with a simple message: Let’s start the season by beating the Falcons and finish the season in Atlanta. “That’s the ultimate goal,” Jeffery said Thursday night at his locker. “We got a taste of the Super Bowl. Why not do it again?”Eagles v. Giants: 19 winners, losers, and I dunnos - BGNCarson Wentz: Honestly, I’m kinda glad that Giants rookie running back Saquon Barkley had himself such an evening. He took the biggest chunk of the NFL attention, while Carson’s dominant performance went rather quietly by. Carson’s placement looks as good, if not better than it did last season. His mobility is clearly back to pre-injury levels. HIs mental processing is back to last season’s levels, though there’s still growth to be had there. His improvisation and willingness to extend plays took a step forward. His risk management is still wild and still awesome. The real 2017 MVP is back. The Kist & Solak Show #26: Eagles Make the Giants Quit - BGN RadioMichael Kist and Benjamin Solak are happy to bring to you a recap of the Eagles dominating win over the hapless Giants and detail everything that went right for the Eagles in what hopefully is the bounce back game they’ve been searching for.Handing out 10 awards from the Eagles-Giants game - PhillyVoiceDuring the Eagles’ two-game skid, one of the bright spots was the play of Wentz, who is proving each and every week that he is very much still a fantastic quarterback. Against the Giants, Wentz probably had his best game of the season, going 26 of 36 for 278 yards Youth Jalen Mills Jersey , 3 TD, 0 INT, 1 sack, and a passer rating of 122.2. He also had a 2017-esque highlight reel play.Fun Night - Iggles BlitzThe Eagles won. They won big, 34-13. And the game wasn’t even that close. A lot of things went right for the Eagles. The defense came up with a takeaway on the first drive and that led to a short TD drive. A good PR by DeAndre Carter put the offense in good position later and the offense scored again to go up 14-3. The Eagles were making plays on offense, defense and STs. The Eagles dominated the line of scrimmage. Eli Manning was under pressure all night (4 sacks, many more hits). He really struggled, making bad decisions and even worse throws. The Giants offense looked completely inept鈥xcept for one guy. Saquon.Carson Wentz returns to dominant MVP level as Eagles smother Giants - ESPNPhiladelphia Eagles quarterback Carson Wentz looked like his old MVP-caliber self Thursday night, slicing through the New York Giants defense to post three touchdowns, no interceptions and a 122 quarterback rating as the Eagles rolled past their division rival 34-13, improving to 3-3 in the process. It was clear Wentz was back to form right out of the gate. Facing a third-and-7 at the Giants’ 13-yard line on the Eagles’ first possession, Wentz rolled out right, extended the play and then threw across his body and into the back of the end zone to a tightly-covered Alshon Jeffery for the touchdown. ”They always say, don’t throw late over the middle, but with Carson those rules kind of go out the window,” tight end Zach Ertz said. “You kind of just let him do his thing.”’Tonight I Think You Saw Eagles Football’ - PE.comSix games in, the Philadelphia Eagles we all expected from Day 1 showed up on Thursday night at MetLife Stadium and blew the doors off the New York Giants http://www.eaglescheapauthenticstore.com/malcolm-jenkins-jersey-cheap , 34-13. It was a complete 60-minute performance from the Eagles to even their record at 3-3 as the team heads into a mini-bye weekend that everyone will savor. The Eagles played terrific football in every phase of the game. A Kamu Grugier-Hill interception on the Giants’ first possession set the tone, and the Eagles’ offense turned that takeaway into seven points. Philadelphia led 14-3 after one quarter, 24-6 at the half, and then just controlled the clock and played physical, bruising defense to win the second half. What was different for the Eagles on Thursday night after five up-and-down games, the last two of them tough losses, playing on the road on a short week?Refocused, NFL Week 6: Philadelphia Eagles 34, New York Giants 13 - PFFWhile they ultimately didn’t need it, the Eagles production on the ground was more due to volume than efficiency. Philadelphia didn’t surrender many opportunities for negatives plays, but they rarely managed to open up much running room for Wendell Smallwood and Corey Clement, who combined to average just 3.2 yards per carry.Eagles’ secondary relished opportunity to ‘shut that up’ against Giants - NBCSP“I feel like every time things go bad, it’s always the secondary’s fault,” Ronald Darby said. “So we just took it upon ourselves to shut that up and go out there and make plays, and that’s what our key objective was.” Beckham managed just 44 receiving yards with a long gain of 12 yards, most of it in garbage time, and although Giants rookie Saquon Barkley had a brilliant evening with 229 yards from scrimmage http://www.authenticsphiladelphiaeagles.com/cheap-jason-peters-jersey , the Eagles’ secondary had by far its strongest game of the season. Eli Manning, who’s thrown more touchdowns against the Eagles than any QB in history, didn’t throw a touchdown, got picked off by Kamu Grugier-Hill and had nine passes knocked down, four by Darby. Manning looked old and washed up. The Eagles’ secondary looked fast, aggressive and confident.Eagles RB Jay Ajayi had insurance policy to protect from injury - NFL.comHowever, according to his business manager Josh Sanchez, Ajayi bought a loss-of-value insurance policy this past year (and the year before) to protect him against exactly what ended up happening. Ajayi was valued as a significant free agent based on the policy. If the injury takes his market down to a point where he would be a lower-level free agent, he can receive a maximum payout $5 million net -- after taxes. In other words, if Ajayi’s free-agent value goes down, the policy will help make up the difference. Let’s say he’s valued as being able to earn a four-year, $16-million contract before the injury. But now, he ends up earning just $8 million over four years.Giants vs. Eagles: 4 things we learned as Giants’ season implodes in blowout loss to Eagles -Big Blue ViewWill Hernandez is going to be a very good player. That is the extent of the optimism with respect to the Giants’ offensive line. Eli Manning was under siege throughout the game and was simply getting destroyed by the fourth quarter. The Giants did get a decent push in the run game, usually as a result of Hernandez’s blocks, and one great block from Sterling Shepard. However, after a mid-game adjustment, the running backs were once again being met in the backfield by Eagles’ defenders. Giants’ fans celebrated when Ereck Flowers was released http://www.authenticsphiladelphiaeagles.com/cheap-malcolm-jenkins-jersey , wiping away the last holdover of Jerry Reese’s offensive line. However, that also means that THIS offensive line is Dave Gettleman’s, and he bears the responsibility for it. For all the (deserved) criticism of the Giants’ offensive line in 2017, it is somehow worse now and that is on Gettleman. Unfortunately, it’s a problem the Giants will have to live with for the rest of the year. There’s Plenty of Time to Fix the Dallas Cowboys’ Struggling Offense - The MMQBI’m never saying never with the Howie Roseman-led Eagles—they kick tires exhaustively and on everyone and everything. But I’m not sure Le’Veon Bell was ever a real thing (though they did call Pittsburgh), nor do I think that they’re banging down Buffalo’s door to get LeSean McCoy (they did call the Bills too). Could it happen with Jay Ajayi down? Sure. Is it likely? No. In fact, I’m told the Eagles don’t even view running back as their first or second biggest concern. The first one is over how one offensive tackle being beat up pretty good and the other is underachieving. The second issue is at corner, where Philly’s been torched. Can Sidney Jones make leap? It’d be a godsend for Philly if he did. And it’d sure help if they got some more out of Jason Peters and Lane Johnson too.Why did Odell Beckham Jr. leave the field early before halftime? - SB NationOdell Beckham Jr. is frustrated with the New York Giants offense and hasn’t hidden that fact. He spoke honestly about the issues he has with the team in an interview on ESPN a week ago. So it raised eyebrows when cameras showed Beckham walking off the field in the final seconds of the first half of a Week 6 game against the Philadelphia Eagles instead of sticking around for the last play....Social Media Information:BGN Facebook Page: Click here to like our pageBGN Twitter: Follow @BleedingGreenBGN Manager: Brandon Lee Gowton: Follow @BrandonGowtonBGN Radio Twitter: Follow @BGN_RadioEagles vs. Vikings Game Predictions I said it after the Philadelphia’s disappointing loss to the Tennessee Titans and I’ll say it again now: we are going to find out a lot about this 2018 Eagles team today. How this group responds to blowing a 17 to 3 lead last Sunday should let us know just how much fight this team has left in them. The Eagles’ Week 5 opponent, the Minnesota Vikings, arguably have more reason to be desperate than Philly given their 1-2-1 record. But it’d be disappointing to see that show up on the field. The Eagles need to look like the team playing with real urgency. Despite their shaky start, the Eagles should still inspire some faith. Their 17-2 home record has been brought up a billion times this week. That shouldn’t be easily dismissed. That’s a significant advantage working in their favor.Another reason to feel good is that the Eagles still have one of the best quarterbacks in the league. Carson Wentz looked really sharp against the Titans in Week 4 despite the fact he was dealing with a ton of pressure and drops. This offensive line just needs to protect him better. We know they’re capable of doing it.We also know the Eagles defensive line is capable of disrupting the Vikings’ passing offense. Minnesota has allowed the most quarterback pressures in the league this season. The Eagles MUST make life hard on Kirk Cousins and not give him all day to throw against this secondary. Cousins had a tendency to turn the ball over. It’s critical that the Eagles come up with some takeaways. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t have at least a little bit of uneasiness heading into this one since the Eagles have been inconsistent. But the truth is the Vikings have looked worse through four games. The Eagles have what it takes to win this game and I believe they will. I expect the play in the trenches to remind of us how the Eagles were so good in 2017. Wentz is going to put up touchdowns against a Vikings defense that’s allowing an average of 29.6 points per game since the NFC Championship Game earlier this year. The reigning Super Bowl champions are going to asset themselves today. The Eagles are going to build a lead comfortable enough to the point where Nick Foles gets to come in for the victory formation at the end of the game. Fans at the Linc will be doing the “FOLES!” chant in mockery of “SKOL.” The Eagles will be advancing to 3-2 while Minnesota drops to 1-3-1.Suggested format:Score prediction:Bold prediction:My predictions:Score prediction: 38-7, Eagles win.Bold prediction: The Eagles intercept Kirk Cousins three times, including one pick six by Sidney Jones.
