We’re going to kill some time until then with our weekly Mock Draft Monday series. (You can also check out BGN’s latest mock draft roundup.)This week’s mock draft takes last week’s free agency signings and trades into account. Here’s who SB Nation’s Dan Kadar now has the Philadelphia Eagles taking with the No. 25 overall pick:Notable players the Eagles passed on in this scenario include: Josh Jacobs, Cody Ford, Jachai Polite Womens Darren Sproles Jersey , and Jeffery Simmons. Kadar has previously mocked Little to the Eagles and it’s not a pick that fans are crazy about.The dissatisfaction comes in part from the pick feeling like a reach. NFL.com’s Lance Zierlein prospect grade for Little is “Chance to Become NFL Starter.” The Draft Network guys have Little ranked as their: OT5, OT7, OT8, OT8 Jay Ajayi Jersey , and OT10. Those same guys have Ford as either their second or third best tackle in this year’s class. I certainly don’t think it’s impossible the Eagles draft a tackle at No. 25 even after bringing Peters back. He’s 37 years old and this is likely his last NFL season, for real this time. There’s some merit in developing a future starter behind him.But I do think bringing Peters back decreased the odds of Philly going offensive tackle at No. 25. The Eagles shouldn’t be forcing a pick at that spot. Halapoulivaati Vaitai can be a spot starter while Jordan Mailata and Matt Pryor are young, developmental blockers with upside. Tackle is not an immediate need.If Philly feels very strongly about a tackle such as a Little, they should take him. Over the next few days we’ll be ramping up our coverage as the 2019 NFL Draft approaches. That begins on Bleeding Green Nation podcasts by bringing on guests to talk about specific positions of interest to the Philadelphia Eagles.Today we have Owen Riese of Bucky’s 5th Quarter and Inside the Pylon to break down the top of this interior offensive line class. With so many short-term and long-term questions surrounding those three positions, it’s important to get to know these prospects. The feeling is that if the Eagles do go for trench help, it will be early for an upgrade as opposed to late for depth. Therefore we focused on the top of the class.The major wildcard in this is NC State center Garrett Bradbury or “Baby Kelce” as Riese dubbed him. It’s about as direct and easy of a comparison you can give. If the Eagles are concerned that Jason Kelce will hang up the cleats after this year after giving it serious consideration in the offseason Womens Chance Warmack Jersey , could Bradbury be in play? Or does Kelce’s contract extension give them confidence he’s got a couple left in him?The other spot to watch is left guard, where Isaac Seumalo has a tentative hold on the starting spot which is highlighted by his tentative extension. I was surprised by Seumalo’s development last year and he gave starter quality play, but you have to wonder if he’ll ever be anything past replacement-level.If they’re looking to upgrade Seumalo, who’s in play? Riese made the case for Oklahoma’s Dru Samia Nick Foles Jersey , Boston College’s Chris Lindstrom and Wisconsin’s Michael Deiter being prime candidates.
