Bengals tackle Jake Fisher went through a full practice on Tuesday for the first time since having heart surgery last November.
Fisher Authentic Melvin Gordon Jersey , who had surgery to correct an irregular heartbeat and cleared for lighter workouts in February, worked in full again on Wednesday as the Bengals continued their minicamp.
“I was a little rusty, but I knew that’s how it was going to be,” Fisher said Youth Antonio Brown Jersey , via ESPN.com. “I hadn’t played football since last November, so there’s going to be rust. You’ve just got to take it [for] what it is, understand what you’re doing wrong and fix it and get out there the next day and do it again.”
Fisher will still get regular checkups to make sure all is well with his heart, but said on Wednesday that he’s focused entirely on “trying to be the best player I can for this team.” Fisher was the starting right tackle when his season ended last year Womens C.J. Mosley Jersey , but figures to have some competition from Bobby Hart and Cedric Ogbuehi heading into this year.
The Dolphins didn’t get much of a look at linebacker Raekwon McMillan during his rookie season as the second-round pick tore his ACL while covering a punt early in the team’s first preseason game.
McMillan’s injury came at a time when he was “about to make that move” into the starting lineup, according to defensive coordinator Matt Burke. That made the injury bad news for McMillan and the Dolphins, but Burke said the good news is that McMillan’s back on track after rehabbing the injury.
“We had high hopes for him last year,” Burke said Womens Christian McCaffrey Jersey , via the Palm Beach Post. “Nothing he’s done since then has discouraged that. … He’s been really in-tune, been really sharp. He’s got all the leadership skills and things that we look for, especially at that position. He’s worked his ass off to get better. He’s rehabbed. He’s in here every day. He hasn’t shown any limitations so far, which has been encouraging. Hopefully he’s a big piece for us.”
