Rebilas-USA TODAY SportsOne of the most expected moves of the 2019 NFL offseason has come to pass.According to Adam Schefter, the Arizona Cardinals will be cutting Jermaine Gresham on Thursday, the beginning of the new league year.Gresham getting cut will save about $2.5 million on the salary cap.In what has to be one of the worst contracts ever handed out in the Steve Keim era, not because of the player or what they paid him, but the dead money on the contract that made it nearly impossible to release Gresham, as the Cardinals are still eating $5.75 million in dead money with this cut.Gresham’s numbers over his four years and 58 games were okay: 97 receptions 1030 yards and five touchdowns.However, Gresham was one of the most penalized players in the NFL in 2016 and 2017, combining for 19 penalties on the season.Gresham battled through back Tre Boston Jersey 2019 , leg and achilles injuries during his Cardinals tenure, he was always willing to try and play through those ailments and to me that likely fed into the penalty issues as he was always hampered, but was trying to play through.Good luck to Gresham in his next step of his career.
